When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

BE-JE Redstone Parity.

Java Edition's Redstone has subtle features that allow for interesting gameplay that is simply not possible in Bedrock. The main differences between BE Redstone and JE Redstone boil down to two features: Quasi-Connectivity and sticky piston block ejection. With just these two advantages over BE, JE Redstone allows for more complex Redstone builds. 

Integrating these features into BE will make complex Redstone in BE easier and more capable.

    also bedrock has the ability to push chests, furnaces etc with a piston

    Quasi-connectivity is a bug in java edition and i know what are you going to say it's not a bug a feature right? it does not make sense at all like how a piston is powered WITHOUT CONNECTING IT

    while bedrock's redstone has been revamped to work 100% like in real life and it also makes sense
