I love the music of Minecraft, and it’d be hard to imagine the game without it. However, whenever I’m listening to a good song, I’ll have a thought pass though my head saying “Hey, I want this on my playlist!”, but then I realize that I don’t know the song name! Of course I could look up the official OST and search though all the songs, but Minecraft is about simplicity and accessibility, so I think that there should be a simple, in-game way to discover the wonderful music of Minecraft outside of gameplay
The first thing that could be done is that whenever you go to the pause screen, up in the upper left corner (for Bedrock), you’ll see a simple music note with the name of the song currently playing right next to it. Along with this, you can also add a music player (perhaps on the pause menu or within the game’s settings), which would simply let you choose from any song in the game to play, excluding the disk songs, if you’re in survival mode. Maybe if you find the disk in the game, it would let you play the song in survival mode? Either way, you’d be able to play the disk songs automatically in Creative mode. That’s basically my idea, I think this’ll really help out with people who want to dive deeper into the music of Minecraft.
