Spore Blossoms placable upright

As the title suggests, could we have spore blossoms placable upright? without particle emission or anything, it would be nice to have a giant flower we can plant on all surfaces, perhaps even sideways? Im just looking for an opportunity to have a big flower that I could place on water to make giant lilies or just in general have a big flower on the ground

    it would also be so useful if you could turn them on and off maybe by powering them with redstone.
