New boss: Gloiath

Gloiath is a portmanteau of "glow" and "goliath", being a gigantic glowing squid. One thing to keep in mind when fighting this creature is that it has 4 attackable sides, but its face (1 side) is its weak point.

Stage 1: The gloiath will hover and spin slowly over an abyss where you could only attack it with arrows. It will frequently attack you with its tentacles which you can kill. Killed tentacles may grow back. If the squid is not facing you, its attacks will be less accurate, but it may saturate the water with ink to reduce your visibility for 1/2 a second. To move on to stage 2, kill 2 of the 8 tentacles.

Stage 2: The gloiath will go onto land, standing on 4 of its tentacles to crawl around and 2 of its tentacles for offensive attacks. If you get too close to the crawling tentacles, they will stomp you, causing great knockback. The offensive tentacles will catch arrows, protecting the gloiath's face. If you manage to kill a crawling tentacle, an offensive tentacle will replace it. Kill 2 more of its tentacles to proceed to the next stage.

Stage 3: The gloiath, with its 4 remaining tentacles, will sit down. If you're too close, the gloiath will do a devastating attack where it will attack with all 4 of its tentacles. If you're too far away, it will need to use 2 tentacles to move towards you before attacking with only 2 tentacles. Kill all 4 tentacles and the gloiath will be vulnerable; be careful, as the tentacles will quickly grow back and unleash a devastating attack.
