Ok so when the SDGP was cancelled in 2019 people did not forget that. There are lots of people still waiting for some type of improved graphics for the next generation consoles. The one and only reason I bought the Xbox Series X was because like a dummy I thought that the Minecraft with ray tracing tech demos were real and that the next gen consoles would have it. And the biggest thing that bugs me is the fact that those console tech demos were made by 1 guy in like 4 WEEKS!!! And we still have nothing after 3 YEARS? I don’t understand why Mojang would not take advantage of these new features on the Xbox Series X, S, & PS5 as it seems like kind of a no brainer to me. It seems like either they don’t realize that this could be a really smart business move or Mojang is just straight up lazy. At this point I really don’t care about the cave update as I don’t even play Minecraft anymore (it honestly gives me headaches to play vanilla mc) so I really only care about the graphics improving at this point.
