The Ender Dragon may be the final end boss of the game but I always seem underwhelmed by the difficulty. Because of how the Ender Dragon now goes into the middle it's now sorta easy, so to change this maybe the Dragon can actually land on the end stone and walk around the area and maybe stopping in some time causing damage to the player if it gets too near. If enough time is spent the Ender Dragon will go back flying.
This will add a bit more of a challenge since now as the dragon walks and you have a less chance of damaging the head which is the bigger weak point. The body could still be harmed but it's that head that will take the most amount of damage when hit.
The tail would also work as another attack the Ender Dragon can use knocking the player back far and because of the netherite armor having some knockback resistance it does balance the fight.
This change will bring a new type of difficultly to the boss that will really earn it's title of the end boss.
