The enchanted menace is an enchanted book that became sentient and super-enchanted by the shard's influence. This book wields all the powers of enchantment.
Stage 1: The enchanted menace will use shockwaves as projectiles, do a swirling attack that does high knockback when the player gets too close, and periodically chase you while swirling for 10 seconds. In this stage, the enchanted menace will always be enchanted with deflect except within 1 second of shockwaving or swirling, or within 5 seconds of swirl chasing you.
Stage 2: The enchanted menace will summon a random melee mob, mega-enchant it to make it huge (but slower in speed and attack), and hide behind it. Defeating the mob will make the battle move to stage 3.
Stage 3: The enchanted menace will summon 4 elite enchanters, which are like normal enchanters but tougher and with higher enchanting range. Each elite enchanter has one specific enchantment that they can give to two allies, the boss and/or nearby elite enchanters. The enchanted menace will replace any fallen elite enchanters every 2 minutes, but will otherwise attack like in stage 1.
Stage 4: The enchanted menace will attach itself to bookshelves and become a book golem, which will melee attack and enchant itself with 3 random melee mob enchantments. The enchantments will change every 30 seconds to keep this final stand interesting and unpredictable.
