Nightmare Horse

This would be a creature that only appears at night and/or when you are sleep deprived. They would follow you around, possibly giving you nightmares which would make you unable to sleep. Other than that, they would not be hostile, just creepy. These creatures would be like the horse version of the Cheshire Cat. They would have big eyes and a wide grin, both of which would glow in the dark. They would also have dark stripes such as black, purple, and blue. These stripes would alternate colors and/or fade in and out, making them sort of transparent or seem like a shadow. The lighter it is the more invisible they become, with their eyes and mouth being the last thing to disappear

    There may also be a non-nightmare version, possibly called Daydreams, which have lighter colors such as pink, orange, and baby blue

    This is inspired by Henry Fuseli's painting "The Nightmare." If it was more similar to the painting, then it may be all black, have white blind eyes, and have a smoky mane
