When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

Silent pistons

Adding a bottle of honey to a piston or sticky piston will act as grease silencing it. It would make sense and then you could have silent piston doors, contraptions, and everything else involving them. The name would probably be waxed piston and waxed sticky piston.I don't know if this is something that people have wanted for a long time but I personally would love this addition and it seems this is a perfect time to add it in. Thank you to anyone who likes this and Minecraft is the best game by far.

    Honey is a sugary component...i.e. "sticky", not lubricating, but the game does currently lack any other sensible substance for "dampening" or "lubricating", so this seems most appropriate. I like this idea, especially for those pesky auto-farms that are always running (so dern noisy!).

    This should be added or add oil reserves in and allow us to oil them. Either way a way for us to truly have a secret area

    Could use an ink sack instead of honey, I feel like that'd make more sense. I like the idea though

    we got coal and in the real world graphine and graphite are dry lubricants so that could also work

    water bottle + slime ball + ink sack could do the trick,
