Pick block is a really useful function, I use it very often. But, if all of your hotbar slots have an item and you pick block a block on java while holding an enchanted tool in your hand, it will not replace the enchanted item even though you have that item selected. It will instead replaced an unenchanted item in your hotbar and switch to that slot. For me this usually replaces my food in my hotbar. This is annoying. The game should just let me replace my enchanted tools using pick block like on bedrock. Please remove this mechanic from java (or add an option to turn it off). For example when I use my fortune hoe to harvest my wood, I often wanna use pick block on the saplings to plant them and replace my hoe, but instead it will mess up my inventory by replacing my golden carrots or Steaks with the saplings. This is annoying and doesn’t happen on bedrock. On bedrock it always replaces the slot I have selected in my hotbar in this case. Another situation in java where this is annoying: When my hotbar is full and I have put a fortune tool in my hotbar to harvested carrots or potatoes, when I am done with harvesting, I wanna replace my fortune tool with carrot or potatoes to plant using pick block, but instead it replaces my food and messes up my inventory. Please let me just replace enchanted tools using pick block like on bedrock!
