Cross-Platform Save Transferring

I was thinking that if cross-platform multiplayer were to be implemented in the future for Minecraft Dungeons, will cross-platform save transferring be implemented alongside that? Mainly so that players with high-level characters can keep their progress after transferring to a different platform (say, Switch to PC/Xbox)

    This really should be done, now that MC dungeons supports Cross-play. Other games through the microsoft store sync data between Xbox and PC (I.E. Forza Horizon 4) so why can’t this? I get it’s not an Xbox play anywhere title, and there are multiple storefronts available to purchase the game on PC, but save data sync is part of windows 10’s Xbox interface functionality, so I don’t see why it can’t happen

    Additionally, will DLC bought for one platform ever translate to other platforms?

    Something similar has been mentioned here: Cross-Save, at least Cloud Save
