Parity means making features behave consistently across different Minecraft editions, most commonly between Minecraft: Java Edition and Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. Use this category to discuss released features that exist in both versions of the game but work differently. Please note that bugs are not parity issues and should be reported separately.

    Native Connected Textures support

I wished connected textures, like from Optifine, would be supported by default, because then we would not have so many issues, if we use Fabric or if you use the Bedrock Edition. So please add support in both versions for it.

Mojang itself could use it to give Minecraft textures more variability and seamlessness.

A multi texture layer system for emissive textures and connected textures may solve bugs like MC-280080.

Would definitely love to see blocks with borders connecting with each other especially now that additional ambiance and vibrant visuals are added which also enhance the look of the game. I'd also like to see connected textures between different types of blocks like stone bricks + cobblestone creating a cracked wall look.

connected glass makes builds look so much better! we should also have it on grass hills. connected textures are such a small change but they would be amazing to have in vanilla minecraft
