I agree, they mandatory downgraded the graphics for at least 80% of the community, they could have at least waited another 2-3 months before releasing it, when they have shader support or the least they could have done is have taken the effects from the top 3 shaders and included them as options in the video settings.

Yeah it’s so annoying. Now I can’t play with good graphics anymore on bedrock

We know that community shaders are not supported anymore because of the upgrade to Render Dragon.

However, there are still a lot of people out there playing Minecraft without a RTX card, including the ones on smartphone, xbox, switch and so on...

The full upgrade to Render Dragon affected a lot of people who were playing Minecraft using a shader pack, because shaders packs greatly increase the look of the game, and make it more appreciated by players.

Because of that, many players who had taken the habit to use shaders packs stopped playing (including me). For example I have a good GC (GTX 1080ti) and I can't play with beautiful graphics since you upgraded to Render Dragon because the shaders pack I used made a lot of improvements.

    Here are potential solutions/improvements :

    1) Make community shaders compatible with Render Dragon

-> If you are afraid of compatibility with RTX, you could maybe think about something like "if a RTX pack is loaded and RTX is activated, then disable shaders, otherwise let the shaders be loaded".

    2) Add a video menu option to select whether to use Render Dragon or the previous engine

-> This could be a solution but it will force you to support 2 graphics engine, not the best solution I think

Not everyone has an RTX graphics card or can afford one. Let alone actually finding someone that stocks them, especially with all the scalpers.

So giving us the ability to add our own shaders back on MC would be great!

It would be great if they add support for shaders with render dragon since as of 1.18 all platforms will run out of shaders

It honestly ruined the game for me I really enjoyed having nice looking shaders and I don't have RTX. Custom shaders should definently be brought back.

I think Mojang should think about how to render dragons using shaders, because it's been almost 1 year we just want an update like this, I hope Mojang can care more about bedrock too, don't just focus on java quality;'(

This would be a problem only for PC… if it wasn't for 1.18.30. With the release of 1.18.30 (probably one of, if not, THE laggiest version ever released in Bedrock Edition's history), came RenderDragon for all devices, including 32-bit PCs, making this suggestion the most important for the future of shaders
