Merge optifine

Minecraft is a great game, sadly, on old computers the game usually lags. And one of those solutions is to download optifine, which by just downloading and using without any settings increase FPS. Optifine also allows for some better graphical features than minecraft has to offer, such as shaders and dynamic lightning. Optifine also contains features like “smart animations”, “fast math” and “fast rendering” which all increase the FPS by about ten times. The downsides of optifine is that it converts the graphics menu into a advanced thing, but keeps it simple by adding descriptions if you hover over a button.

    Sensible. I would just want the shaders, dynamic lighting, and FPS boosting aspects of Optifine. Zoom maybe. This would require getting perms from the creators of OptiFine, however.

    well, y dont u buy a slightly decent pc then? also, merging SODIUM would be a better ifea, since OF lags my old laptop even worst.

    To the people arguing to "just buy better computers" that's not available for everyone. For me, without Optifine I couldn't last minutes in a singleplayer world because of the sheer lag, and the only way to prevent it was to look at the ground, which is pretty odd.

    Players shouldn't have to buy new computers to play a game which is based on the concept of blocks with low graphics
