Moving Villagers using emeralds

Hi, I have a proposal, I've been playing this game for years, a big fan of all your work with the new updates, but can you have it so the the villagers follow you when you have emeralds in your hand or offhand? It's like when you go into a market and all the merchants come rushing in to try and batter or sell their items with you, and them following the player would also mean it would be easier to move them from place to place, making it easier for making village trading halls away from the village and closer to your base
