When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

This is intresting but it would damage alot of redstone circuits.

If this happens it should occur only when there is nothing connected to the redstone torch. it would be intresting for some redstone builds, but it would replace dispensers with flint and steel, but could set a fire that does not need a visible dispenser to whatever block(s) the torch is activating.

Maybe the top and front blocks are the only ones primed for ignition rather than the bottom, backside, and sides. This would offer more predictability which is necessary for complex circuits. If this doesnt happen than maybe redstone tinted fire that doesnt burn things could be implimented for this.
