There are lots of redstone circuits, such as flying machines and hidden piston doors, that work on Java, but don't work on Bedrock, due to the lack of quasi-connectivity and 1-tick-redstone-pulse sticky piston behaviors. I believe that just adding these features and removing the old ones on bedrock would be controversial, so I think the solution to this problem is adding switches at the world menu, so you can choose which behaviors you prefer. Please, add this to the game, since we on bedrock struggle to make redstone circuits as dope as Java's.
