Lost Miner

You would find the Lost Miner randomly in caves, once it sees you the Lost Miner follows you until he reaches the surface, then gives the player some emeralds. 

All credit goes to Primitive Mobs for the idea, I think it would make Minecraft much more alive.

    Smh ... This whole quest motive for the community is going to make Minecraft less of a laid back survival game and more of a questing game. Which won't be very Minecrafty. I'm not saying I don't want a miner mob I just think it should have more uses like maybe while escorting it out you can give it any sword or bow and they'll back you up as your mining. Or have the option to kill it for loot but it would put up a fight .
