Owls (Mice and Frogs) Oh My

Owls - Neutral mob, spawn at night and sit on top of trees. They would hunt mice, frogs, rabbits. You can name-tag them to keep them from despawning during the day. They could also be tamed like cats and wolves. You could keep them in storage buildings to take care of mice (different feedback idea). 

This would be a fun update when combined with the mice (and frog) update, they would control mice populations keeping your food storage from getting depleted. And they would hunt elusive frogs giving you drops that are harder to find.
