Astronomical Events

When I saw the announcement of a telescope or spy glass into minecraft my immediate first thought was yay vanilla optifine! But then I started to think about how cool the telescope could be, I know right now the spy glass is only for close zooms but I had an I dea for that too; because the spyglass is made from amethyst shards you could add diamond shards and make them the crafting recipe for stronger astronomical telescopes, you could also have these diamond shards as a possible archeological loot... or not. Really I would just like to see things like star variations, like the planets and galaxies that we can see, ot would also be cool to see comets and you could even have an achievement for see a shooting star through a spyglass. Anyways this has been my kind of ramble on possible ideas for the spy glass, I have always been fascinated with the night sky and the vastness of space, and I also love the infinite possibility of minecraft and I feel that a more vibrant and more or less interactive night sky would be a great addition to pair with the new spyglass.
