Seeing the same green gemstones can be kinda boring to watch. There's nothing that makes you look relating to currency besides selling uniques so how about adding Rubies into the mix? Rubies would have a rare chance of dropping and earn the player more emeralds upon retrieving them. There could even be an enchantment that would increase the drop rate of Rubies too!
