Hello,
When the nether update was added it made it so it felt more full. One of the my favorite things of the new found fullness, as opposed to the old empty feel to the Nether, was the Ambience. It made me feel as though I was actually there hearing the wind blowing and the creepy hum of the Nether. I feel like ambience would work in many other places in Minecraft and it would make it feel more like you were actually there exploring your world.
Places ambience could be added:
- Jungle : Perhaps when you are deep in a jungle surrounded by trees you could hear different animals and noises in the distance to make you feel truly in the wilderness.
- Mountains : This would go great with the caves and cliffs update. Maybe when you are on a mountain really high up, or really high up in general, you could hear really cold sounding winds.
Plains, Deserts, Anything flat really : It could be nice to hear some wind now and again.
Underwater Noises (On Bedrock) : This is a parity change. On java when you go underwater there it some ambience but not on bedrock. Please add them to Bedrock because I think it would be nice :)
Etc.
Overall, I think Minecraft could benefit from more ambience. It would just make the world feel more immersive and lively. This, idk think, would be too hard to implement but things like the jungle would be hard to implement because it is random and you would have to detect if a player destroys the jungle to not play ambience any more to make it feel right and what not.
