Parity means making features behave consistently across different Minecraft editions, most commonly between Minecraft: Java Edition and Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. Use this category to discuss released features that exist in both versions of the game but work differently. Please note that bugs are not parity issues and should be reported separately.

You might not be saying add all Java offhand features to Bedrock, but I am! We deserve this easier way to mend tools/armor for sure, but we also deserve to be able to hold torches, use fireworks to fly, and hopefully place another type of building block from there too!

This would also abide by the current offhand rules, where an offhand item cannot have right click functionality. So, simply only allow for the Mending item in your offhand to be held and repaired but not used in any way.
