Christmas Furniture on Marketplace

I bought a £6 pack from the marketplace, called Christmas Furniture by House of How, earlier today and it was not what I expected and I am quite disappointed. I expected a texture pack and a few extra christmas decorations I could use to decorate my world but I can't change the world it's on and lots of the items don't work and show up as spawn eggs that don't spawn anything. I wish it was easier to tell if a pack can be applied to a random world rather than only being on a set world. I'm dissapointed because I have purchased things from the marketplace before and have only had positive experiences and this was an expensive purchase for me.
