Make killing the Ender Dragon more rewarding

Can you imagine that after killing the Ender Dragon you aren’t rewarded (other than beating the game)?! I want the Ender Dragon’s egg to hatch so we can bring it back as a pet, and I want the Ender Dragon to drop at least 32 dragon scales. We could tame the baby dragon with raw fish, and the scales could be used for a stronger armor then netherite, or for dragon wings. Elytra in the middle, phantom membranes in the top corners, and dragon scales everywhere else but the middle row (going down). The dragon wings could be like elytra but you could fly without having to use rockets to launch and go faster.
