Let dogs use totems of undying

We all know the pain of having your dog die, that’s why everyone’s favorite dog is sat at home doing no functional purpose, so let’s change that. What I propose as a way for people to want to use dogs, is; let them use totems of undying, so that we can use them without worrying about their dumb ai and lava, if you also put an enderpearl in their slots they could tp to your spawn bed when they use up their totem, so we’re not too scared to adventure with them, and last but not least, a whistle to make them teleport from unloaded chunks to you, so we don’t loose them. That should be enough to make people want to use dogs again, and not leave them sat at home

    This is a great idea as I know how it is to lose pets in Minecraft. Perhaps the pets can drink certain potions and milk to help them avert certain dangers such as lava and suffocation.
