When posting on the feedback website, the editor allows you to type the @
sign to notify another user of your comment.
I hang around the commands section of the website, and sometimes type out some commands as alternatives to suggestions that are already possible. I click the "Paragraph styles" button at the top of the editor, and choose "Code", which doesn't appear for the post editor, but it does appear for the comment editor.
The code button formats the text like this...
...which we all agree is the most suitable formatting for MC commands.
The problem is, I type target selectors a lot in my commands, and they all start with the @
sign. This makes it annoying because it pops up the name selector field, which I have to dismiss by hitting ESC before I hit Enter, or it will insert a username instead of a newline.
I propose that when typing commands in a code paragraph style, the name selector field does not pop up when typing the @
sign.
