I propose accounts that haven't migrated to Mojang (original Minecraft accounts) lose their names once the Microsoft migration for their account comes along. They would then have to pick a different available name or repick their old one if it is available when they decide to migrate later on. This is because these accounts are very old and out of use, so the usernames should be able to be claimed since there's no need for them to be stuck in unused accounts. This would also let the owners of these old accounts still choose a name if they come back to the game later.
This is different from the "change the names of inactive accounts with OG names" idea, because that would be specific names. I think this idea is more fair because the purchased OG name accounts should at least be migrated to Mojang, even if they aren't migrated to Microsoft.
TLDR: Make unmigrated Minecraft accounts choose a new name when they migrate to Microsoft/Mojang.
