So, this idea isn't new, but I don't usually see a clear and physical example of what could be done. My reference is the structure block: it is a single block, with two functions, and that manages saved areas in a space. The block I think would help redstoning (new word) would be a transmitter/receiver block (two functions in a single block) that could transmit a signal from let's say "Transmitter A2" to "Receiver A2". What this would help with is vertical Redstone connections mostly. If I want a light switch in a house, I need to have three block width walls (outside, inside and a middle area for Redstone to travel). It's super difficult and makes the building unnecessarily bulky. I bet it would make super Redstone contraptions much more functional, sleeker and easier to fit into world's without being a standalone contraption. I see this block purely as a creative tool more so than an item found or created in survival.
Oh, and make it on mobile cause that's were I play pleeeeeease. You're awesome.
