The Behemoth of the Deep Seas (fantasy mob)

This is an underwater hostile mob that spawns only in the deepest parts of Minecraft's oceans

It will be huge so it will only spawn in deep oceans where there's enough space for it to move

This mob will be the apex predator of the oceans, hunting only big prey like dolphins or turtles (which is kinda sad but bear with me) and you guessed it, it eats people too

I suggest that this creature spawns only once per deep ocean (not in every one but in some of them) and doesn't respawn (like with the pillagers in an outpost), so if the players kill it then they will be free to traverse the ocean with safety. An alternative to this is if the creature can spawn more than once per ocean but it will be more rare

It will also attack players in boats, knocking them off the boat and throwing them in the sea where the beast has the advantage

Maybe the player can get some special item upon killing it that can be useful or get a ton of xp points which is also a good idea

In my mind I imagine it as a crocodile-like reptile or a big scary whale. The Mossasaurus is a dinosaur that looks like a mix of both and it best summarizes the creature I have in mind

  I think a Kraken would be a lot cooler in vanilla than a crocodile. This great beast could drop the heart of the sea, and pull you toward its maw with its gigantic tentacles. I agree, one per deep ocean (if any spawn at all) I think it would be funny for it to be afraid of axolotl, shrinking away when such swims by. This would give a greater use to the axolotl in a bucket, as well as determination to find one.
