Horse Shoes

I would like if horseshoes where in minecraft. Enchants on them might be like frost walker, feather falling or even add more new enchants.

    There could also be special enchantments that let your horse run faster or jump higher! This would be great!

    Horseshoes would be a fun item to create out of iron and could make your horse possible faster!

    Horses would have a new horseshoe slot.

    The blacksmith should sell them.

    Iron, gold and maybe diamond variant.

    Each material (iron, gold, diamond, etc) would have different levels of durability, similar to player body armor, and can support enchantments for the horse.  Frost Walker, Fire Protection, Jumper (for higher jumps, perhaps 1.5, 2, 3 times per level of enchantment), Speed (for running faster).

     

    Shoes could allow the horse to jump slightly higher without enchantments, but the highest level of Jump enchantment could scale a mountain easily and jump over two story structures (8 blocks high).  Shoes could also allow the horse to run faster, giving the player bursts of speed when outrunning mobs or chasing the sun.

    Horse shoes should get the same enchantments as boots. Therefore, Soul Speed should be an enchantment for horse shoes, also. Then, we can build roads out of soul sand and soul soil for fast transportation over hilly terrain. The horse shoes could come as leather, iron, diamond, and netherite. 

    I would also like to add horse-drawn carts, wheels for horse carts and minecarts, and soul concrete made from soul sand instead of regular sand. I would also like to add 16 colors of cement, to replace dye in concrete powder recipes, crafted with a respective dye, clay, and lime, another new item obtained from limestone, a new stone type. Alternatively, asphalt can be used instead of cement to make asphalt or soul asphalt concrete, depending on which sand you use. All of this will make many different materials to use for roads. Asphalt could also be used to craft shingles for an additional option for roofs.

    Horseshoes depending on the material could aid a specific horse’s flaws. Chain horseshoes could prevent slowness on sticky and slow moving/flowing blocks(possibly sculk protection if added), gold for horses that are flawed in speed slightly improving it, copper makes them lighting resistant(possibly able to hold a single charge), iron gives them a resistance boost, diamond can allow for higher jumps, and adding netherite horse armor could allow for two players to ride also giving resistance and with netherite horseshoe a speed and jump boost. Horseshoe can be enchanted like armor. Could add two more rare enchantments like “achilles heel I-III” allowing player or horse breif levitation on jump(has to jump twice for activation & can only be found in Ancient ruins, Strongholds, & End Dimension), and “ram charge I-II” allowing player or horse the ability to run into enemies doing slight damage and knockback(should usually have a chance of finding at pillager outpost). Frost walker could then be applied to horseshoes aswell. Horseshoes should also be a throwable (throwing also depletes durability) that could be recollected dealing damage according to its material.
