My suggestion is that universal bans should be consistent over all platforms, meaning that the WHOLE mojang account should be banned. Instead of showing a message and allowing login, I suggest that a permanently banned account, should be disabled completely, so no logins is possible (not even on WEB).
This would mean that Single Player is banned to, but same applies if you get banned on CoD MW2 so nothing different there - if you cheat in multiplayer on mw2 - you get banned in campaign aswell as the ban is account-wide.
For those that have bougt subscriptions directly from MOJANG (where login is required to cancel subscription), cancellation of subscription should only be possible by writing a signed snail-mail etter to a specific adress, where you request the subscription to be cancelled.
(The rationale behind this is that if you cannot login to your account, you cannot cancel subscription, and thus have to end subscription in a "off-account" way by sending a snail-mail letter)
However, those that bought subscription off-MOJANG - for example as in-app purchase or similiar, will of course be able to unsubscribe at that particular app-store.
NOTE: This isn't against EU law, as its an exception if you have broken the rules and gets banned and access to the place (site or physical place) gets revoked. For example, if you purchase a gym membership and then gets banned from that gym - you cannot cancel subscription over the desk and show ID - thus you have to send a snail-mail letter.
