idk if this will ever be a thing, but could mojang add a way to play old versions of the game? like if you own bedrock could they add a way to play the old console versions and previous versions of it, like TU1, TU7 as an example. They could have it as an option on the main menu, like if you click it it will show each version of Minecraft, then whenever you choose it you click apply then the game would restart and put you onto that version of the game? Ik it’s a lot to ask and probably won’t happen for file size reasons but, they don’t have to do every update, at least every MAJOR update from the last gen consoles or something maybe.
I feel like this could be nice for console players who don’t own pc’s or Java because Java edition players are able to play old versions and have that nostalgic feel so why not console players and maybe mobile players too? But instead for mobile it will be the old pocket edition versions, and for windows 10 you don’t need it since windows 10 players most likely already have Java to play.
so yeah.. that’s just an idea that I have. Idk if mojang is ever gonna add it, but I’m just gonna post it anyways
btw this should be on all consoles and ect. So like. PS4, Xbox, switch, and Mobile
oh and for worlds, they should be saved separately in certain Minecraft versions to prevent corruptions, so like different folders as an example, but should allow you to update your worlds if you want to play in later versions on the same world
Maybe make it DLC idk
