    For this to work each version of Minecraft would have to be the same, which they currently are not.

    This is not possible due to Java and Bedrock being completely separate editions of the game, which are not based on the same framework or even coding "language"

    For this to work Bedrock and PE would need to catch up with Java update wise

    They will never add this unless they re-write the code for one of the platforms
