Desert well and archaeology

As we all know archaeology is being added to Minecraft and as of right now we don't exactly know how locating sites is going to work. We also know that currently the desert well is completely useless and if it wasn't in the game at all it would change nothing. To remedy this I propose that we make desert wells archaeology sites where as you slowly get ride of the sand around it you can uncover the destroyed ruins of a ancient structure that you can theorize about.

    Desert Wells are a place to get water at. Perhaps dry wells could be a new structure?

    cranzag, to say its used to get water is a little baseless because there are water oasis all over deserts that can be used to get water, plus water isn't especial in Minecraft as you have no thirst bar.

    I do agree though that a dry well variant would be cool as it could even use cracked sandstone to in order to make it look older and put the opportunity for even more lore that people can speculate on
