A way to control mobs

Create a way to let players control mobs while spectating them. Ideally they would be able to act as those mobs and use their abilities. perhaps a gamerule to let spectated mobs be controlled. I know this is a pretty big ask, but I think it would be an addition a lot of people would have fun with, and a great tool for map makers.
