Just saw the BLM one today. Let's leave the political/social commentaries out of games, please. Some games involve in-universe political discussions and plotlines, but very few break the fourth wall and discuss current real-life politics (for good reason).

I'm honestly surprised this post was allowed through. Thanks, Mojang. I also appreciate the (two) comments this thread received. It's good to know I'm not entirely alone in my observations.

I totally agree with everyone's post about the BLM quip at the start of the game.

    By the way....

Rule #1-LEAVE the politics out of a game such as this there is no room for it.

Rule #2-LEAVE the politics out of a game such as this there is no room for it.

    Rule #3- *ALL LIVES MATTER!*

I am neither a bigot or racist at all and believe everyone needs to be treated equally regardless of colour, community status or wealth. It does NOT matter what colour I am or, if I am a president/ CEO in a company or a billionaire. It does NOT make me better than the person next to me who isn't any of these things...

It won't mean much to the developers (and makes me look like tantrum chucker) but I will forego playing this game today due to the politically incorrect quip.

"Covfefe" was funny, and everyone got it.

But these new messages crossed a line real fast. Mojang, your job is to make an interesting and entertaining game. Your tautological political statements aren't nearly as important as you think, and they won't fill the void you have inside.

Agreed, this needs to stay out of Minecraft. It's off-putting and potentially alienating to players who aren't woke or don't agree with the left. The nation's as polarized as it's been since the war between the states, and the last thing I want to see is real world politics brought up while I'm playing a block game.

Unfortunately there's been no action taken on this (I saw another statement recently). Regardless, I'm happy to see the amount of support this thread got. Thank you.

Real-world politics have no place in Minecraft, and shouldn't be influenced. Express them outside of the franchise.

New splash texts on the menu screen now reference gender identity including "Contains infinite genders!" which goes against my beliefs. Can Mojang please explain to me why my favorite game is becoming ideologically oriented?

It would be less divisive if you didn’t say anything at all.

Just saw "Educate your friends on anti-racism!". Mojang, please stop. All I want is a game about blocks.

This is a game I PAY to play and I'm subjected to political messages on the menu screen? My oldest child is learning to read right now and loves Minecraft, I should not have to explain to him what your virtue signaling messages mean simply because you can't stand to keep them out of a game that pre-dates the "messages" you feel the need to put out

yall are a bunch of snowflakes if you can't handle something you'll see ONLY ON THE TITLE SCREEN. And for the parents in this thread, don't be surprised if your kids put you in a home one day
