My idea involves adding 2 new variants of the Chicken (Roosters and Chicks) to Minecraft. Currently, there are only Chickens, which, when bred, make baby Chickens. But in reality, Roosters (male Chickens) are bred with Hens (female Chickens), and the eggs the Hen lays usually hatch Chicks (baby Chickens). So, my proposal is that Roosters and Chicks be added and, just like how Turtles lay their eggs in Minecraft, Hens should lay their eggs on Nests, which I also believe should be added. Roosters protect all Hens and newly hatched Chicks within the area, so when you attack a Hen or its Chicks, Roosters will peck you. Eggs will now be placeable items, meaning you can break an egg from its nest and pick it up (still being able to use it to make Cake and Pumpkin Pie) and place it back. Although, be warned, taking Eggs from a nest with a Rooster in the area will alert it and will peck you regardless of whether you attacked it, any Hens or Chicks. Roosters aren't all that bad, though. They make cries in the morning, they protect Hens and their Chicks, even their Eggs. You can breed a Hen and a Rooster with seeds, but you cannot breed chickens of the same gender (a Hen with a Hen or a Rooster with a Rooster). When breeding a Hen and a Rooster, they will come together and show hearts above their heads, just like other animals. But instead of producing a Chick, the Hen will go to the closest nest and lay its eggs. P.S. Standing on laid chicken eggs will crack and destroy them.
