Biome specific mob textures

Mobs should have biome-specific textures, like wolfs could be different in certain biomes, or sea turtles should be a different kind of sea turtle in kelp forests or other biomes. if rabbits have special textures in other biomes, other mobs should have it too. what do you think?
edit: i feel like this would add lots more opportunity for zoos and such as well, as there really is not too much variety in the in-game animals. (there is none)
