Dripstone Lurker

The Dripstone Lurker; a small neutral mob that hides in the Dripstone Caves biome. It is like a small tortoise, with a shell that gives it a lot of natural defense. It's shell is also covered in stalagmites. Like the shulker you can stand and walk on this mob, but it deals constant damage to you as long as you are on it. If you were to attack it, it would go inside of it's shell and spin away from you, when spinning it will bounce off blocks and not take fall damage. You could breed it with glow berries from the lush caves. It drops Lurker Scales when killed and you can combine them with iron Armor in a smithing table to make Dripstone Armor. It's a bit less powerful then iron Armor but it has a built in thorns effect so mobs take damage if they attack you.

    I would have the mob be able to walk on ceilings. It's shell should grow larger and when fully grown it will drop like a stalactite. When it does this it will be more vulnerable. It could also be used to make renewable dripstone
