Since the Phantom was released it has caused a lot of problems and became one of the most annoying mobs in the game. Currently, there is a way to control their behavior but I don´t think it is enough.
The concept is great but I believe that not all of us want to have to sleep to reset a Phantom countdown, sleeping should only be an option to skip the night, it would be better if we have a way to make it stop completely and let the player decide when to spawn.
Therefore, I propose that the beacon should give a new effect called “Eternal Dreamer” that prevents the appearance of the Phantom completely. Because the effect comes from the beacon it would be optional and only works locally, once the player leaves the area, the effect disappears and the countdown begins again. Allowing you to control when and where you want it to spawn.
This also encourages defeating the Wither, and you would have to do it several times if your base is too big. I think it is good to encourage gameplay and this is an opportunity.
