Parity means making features behave consistently across different Minecraft editions, most commonly between Minecraft: Java Edition and Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. Use this category to discuss released features that exist in both versions of the game but work differently. Please note that bugs are not parity issues and should be reported separately.

These new M1 chips are crazy powerful. And now that they share the same language as iOS apps (they can be run natively), you could theoretically run Minecraft bedrock OR Minecraft java on macOS (currently possible through translation using Rosetta 2). I would love to see a dedicated bedrock server come to macOS. Please make this happen!

Yes! the M1 is insanely powerful! and M1X right around the corner! its only a matter of time before other companies like, Microsoft, Intel, Nvidia and AMD will switch to ARM! Please Mojang release Minecraft Java that is optimised for ARM (m1) and maybe consider bringing over Minecraft Bedrock to Mac as it shares the same chip architecture and code now. It would be better to have it come later than never! Go Mojang!
