Team PVP

There should be a command of some sort to make it so that two teams cannot hit each other, or simply allowing a single player to be on multiple teams.

This is possible! Make 2 teams using /team and disable friendly fire (/team modify <whatever you named you team> friendlyfire false) This is only on Java Edition though. But I do agree that they should make it so a player can be on multiple teams.
