At Minecraft Live 2020, the Caves and Cliffs update was revealed, along with the new archeology system. I think this is a very unique system, as it promotes lore and a unique way of finding loot! I think it would be great to find these 64x64 Mayan pyramids made of stone brick in the plains biome, almost fully emerged from the ground.
I think this would be a great addition to archeology. Due to it's immense size, there would be more loot, and most likely take more time to excavate, which would keep you pretty busy in your world! You would still be able to brush away dirt and gravel with a brush, as shown at Minecraft Live 2020, but there could be also be other things, such as a treasury filled with valuables, or clay pots scattered everywhere, with ceramic shards already on them to add some lore to the pyramid. Maybe there could even be a parkour course over this deep pit, and at the end, there would be a diamond sword, stuck in some stone, and you could work to pull the sword out! You could also make a pretty epic looking base out of these pyramids!
And that's my idea for Mayan pyramids in archeology! I can understand if Mojang doesn't want to implement this into the game, as it would be quite difficult to code, but I at least HOPE that Mojang sees this and takes the time to consider this as an idea. This was my first ever post, so I am excited to see what people think! Thanks for taking the time to read this, and I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day! :)
