A Locked Chest or Redstone Chest (whatever name sticks or is chosen) is a chest that can only be opened if it is receiving a redstone signal. The lock will glow red when it can be opened, and when inactive be a dark red much like how Redstone Torches look. Perhaps it glows like Redstone Torches too when powered? Might give more attention to it being unlocked! Could also have a small "click" sound for when it gets locked/unlocked.
<?> Maybe some way for it to only open at specific redstone power values too? Maybe an option inside its GUI letting you set what power level it detects? I'd like to refrain from heavy GUI elements, personally, so I'm on the fence about that.
<?> Maybe the chest is unbreakable while locked to prevent people from taking the loot and bypassing the signal requirement? Or perhaps it simply drops itself with the items inside like a shulker? If we did this we may need to have to need endgame materials, and I'd like to stay away from that. There should be some way to prevent people from bypassing the signal requirement and just taking the stuff via breaking the chest.
