University Campus with student and teacher interaction

I work as a university professor and my concern right now is that I really miss the student interaction. We do not get it in Teams or Zoom lectures. I miss walking up to a group of students and simply talk to them, and I think they also miss being able to talk to me on a more spontaneously when they meet me (in the corridor). I read the article about building a university campus in Minecraft and, as a long time Minecraft user, thought about the idea to use a copy of my own campus, where students can go to my office (and get connected to my Teams) or join a lecture simply by going to the correct lecture room (and get connected to the Zoom lecture), and so on. Students and teachers can interact by seeing each other and if you are in your office, you are available as teacher. In this partial lock down of universities, we need some kind of game engine that let us walk around an interact.
