The viler witch, the epic new Minecraft Earth mob would be a great addition to Minecraft in my opinion as a boss/mini boss.
She would be found in dark forest biomes in a structure called a coven clearing, a large open circle marked by a cauldron in the centre surrounded by rings of powder.
Upon getting close to her (she would be in the middle by the cauldron) the fight would begin where the rings of powder would change colour and have particles appear, you would have to get through these rings to attack her as she cannot be damaged by arrows like endermen, however these rings depending on their colour would damage you a different way so you’d have to be prepared. Every time you hit her you would get teleported out of the ring to have to make your way through the rings again (the rings would also change their effect).
Upon death the viler witch would drop mystical powder, this can be placed and have their colour changed either by dye or by a potion, using a potion would cause it to take on that effect much like in the boss fight, the powder could also be ignited, only temporarily though and could also spread ignition to connected powder.
Smarter mobs such as villagers would avoid walking on the powder if it contained a potion effect, effectively creating a non intrusive barrier.
