Spike Mite - A hostile mob

Spike mite - A porcupine like creature that live in the dripstone caves. It will go and attack when the player gets too close. It can summon a stalagmite from the ground and when you get hit by it, it will deal 5 hearts of damage. It will drop a stalagmite bone meal that can grow stalagmites and stalactites.

    Stalagmite - A stalagmite is a type of rock formation that rises from the floor of a cave due to the accumulation of material deposited on the floor from ceiling drippings.

    Stalagmites are typically composed of calcium carbonate, but may consist of lava, mud, peat, pitch, sand, sinter and amberat.

    Stalactites - A stalactite is an icicle-shaped formation that hangs from the ceiling of a cave and is produced by precipitation of minerals from water dripping through the cave ceiling. Most stalactites have pointed tips.

     

    (Differences between these two)

    Stalagmite: A stalagmite is an upward-growing mound of mineral deposits that have precipitated from water dripping onto the floor of a cave. Most stalagmites have rounded or flattened tips.

    Stalactite:  A stalactite is an icicle-shaped formation that hangs from the ceiling of a cave and is produced by precipitation of minerals from water dripping through the cave ceiling. Most stalactites have pointed tips.
