Goose

As a new farmyard bird mob, geese would be really cool to see in Minecraft. They would be peaceful mobs, but if their chicks were nearby, they would become neutral and attack the player (weak damage). They would make honking noises and could perhaps even fly sometimes. Geese would be able to be eaten and drop feathers upon death. They could also have different skins, like the Canadian goose, a white swan, a black goose, grey goose, an Emperor goose breed, and a rare golden goose!

    Why have different goose skins when there is one type of cow pig and chicken but that would be cool either way.

    the white swan should hurt alot more then geese because I know that swans hurt alot more than geese I know how much they hurt from fishing but hey I got the fish im not going to let a swan get it

    I was just thinking about this myself. Historically, Geese were used as guards as well. So maybe if you tame a goose, it will honk loudly which can give specific activations for things like skulk, or tell villagers to go inside. It would honk any time it sees a hostile mob, which would also make it useful to bring into the mines to watch your back, and I'm sure redstoners would find an interesting use for that mechanic.
