Manta Rays

Manta Rays, majestic animals that swim in the depths of the ocean, they are friendly but can inflict one and a half heart of damage to you as a defence mechanism for attacking them, they will often follow you around and then swim away to the nearest shipwreck, they will also add a nice extra atmosphere to the oceans depths, the manta ray itself has 10 hearts of health and won’t drop anything when killed, so please don’t, they would be a nice addition to the depths so if you like the idea please vote!

    I would love to see Manta Rays in Minecraft, but they should have something else special about them because they sound like they would be just like dolphins.

    Manta rays have incredibly deadly toxins if they sting you. I imagen that in Minecraft, they would behave kind of like bees; being neutral but will sting you if you damage them. Though they would pack more of a punch than bees do.

    Just a correction, manta rays do not have a venomous stinger. I think they still have a vestigial barb on their tail, but it's not a threat to people.
    That aside, a purpose to give a manta ray mob could be to befriend a manta and have it intimidate aquatic hostile mobs like the drowned and normal guardians. The manta won't actually attack these mobs, just keep them at bay solely with its large size. I don't know how you would befriend a manta, maybe add plankton as an item you can feed them with?
    That aside, maybe there can be a very rare variant of mantas that's pink like the one that was found near Australia. Also just to give them some more flare, mantas sometimes jump out of the water in real life, so these manta mobs could do the same at random.
